Overview
Food hygiene and safety training providers have identified a growing need to make food safety learning more relevant to specific business environments to increase effectiveness. Reflecting sector-specific needs these food safety qualifications are required to address new National Occupational Standards. In line with this demand, the CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety have been designed to address the food safety and hygiene needs of the catering, manufacturing and retail sectors.

In-House Training
Training can be delivered at your premises, and will include the following as part of the programme, examination is optional and can be purchase online separately:-
· SFBB – understanding, completion, implementation
· Staff training, instruction, supervision, monitoring
· Controlling the risk of cross contamination during storage and preparation
· Daily temp monitoring
· Post cook handling – cooling and hot-holding
· Regular hand washing, personal hygiene, etc.
· Handling Food Safely
· Routine cleaning and sanitisation – using correct cleaning products, contact time
· Pest Control
· Structural requirements
· Food allergens
